The College of Education and Health Professions seeks to achieve excellence by guiding individuals as they develop the proficiency, expertise, and leadership consistent with their professional roles. Fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GAPSC), the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the College of Education and Health Professions supports 20 undergraduate and 24 graduate programs including a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Leadership. By creating opportunities for excellence, the college prepares highly qualified candidates who promote high standards of education and professional excellence.
