Graduate Council

              

Purpose:

  • To promote graduate studies in the COE and at  CSU

  • To evaluate requests for re-admission after exclusion.

  • To evaluate mitigating circumstances that may have contributed to poor student performance.

  • To ascertain the likelihood of students' future academic success.

  • To consider graduate admission appeals.

               Appeal Process

  

To file an appeal, you must first obtain an Appeal Application Form located in Departmental Offices in Jordan Hall or use the Download button below. The form must be completed and all materials supporting your appeal must be attached and returned to the Coordinator of Graduate Records, Ms. Patty Jamieson, Jordan Hall 103, 568- 2301.  The application form must be signed by the Department Chair within the program you wish to apply.

The Graduate Council meets as needed to consider appeals. Once an appeal is considered, a decision will be mailed.
