Friends of Education Annual Fund

Gifts to the Friends of Education Annual Fund are vital to the ongoing success of the College of Education and Health Professions, and are used to meet critical needs and opportunities. Examples include development of academic programs, instructional support, faculty and staff development, K-12 outreach efforts, and special projects and events that impact the community. Additionally, gifts to the Friends of Education Annual Fund allow the college to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff, and the educational community and continue to make a significant impact on education in the region.

Did you know?

The College of Education and Health Professions is nationally  accredited by the NCATE, a distinction that only 58% of the nation's teacher preparation institutions can claim.

More than 60 percent of the region's teachers are graduates of the College of Education and Health Professions.

The COEHP and area schools will supervise nearly 200 student teachers this year.

The COEHP significantly contributes to the academic mission of CSU by providing more than three-fourths of all graduate programs within the university.

The CSU Internet Math Contests, maintained and operated by the COEHP, are viewed by thousands of students from across the globe. This problem-solving website promotes enthusiasm towards mathematics and received more than seven million hits in 2008!
