Faculty Professional Development 2009 - 2010
Faculty in the College of Education and Health Professions have an opportunity to secure funding for professional development opportunities through a variety of funding sources:
1. Academic Department Travel Funds 2. Departmental Foundation Funds 3. Provost's Academic Presentation Funds 4. COEHP Professional Development Funds 5. Grants provided by various programs at CSU.
To secure funds for the Provost's Academic Presentation Funds and the COEHP Professional Development Funds, faculty must submit the following completed COEHP Professional Faculty Development Application to the COEHP Dean's Office for approval.
COEHP Professional Faculty Development Application
Criteria for the Provost's Academic Presentation Funds are as follows:
1. Must be a presenter at an academic professional conference. 2. Maximum allocation of these funds is $1500 per faculty member per year. 3. Maximum of two presentations supported annually by the Provost's Academic Presentation Funds. 4. Preference given to faculty presentations that support academic research.
Criteria for the COEHP Professional Development Funds are as follows:
1. Funds are used to support faculty professional development including presentations, data collection for research, workshop attendance, curriculum development, implementation of technology as a teaching and learning tool, grant writing, etc, 2. Funds are used to support the mission and academic programs of the College of Education and Health Professions 3. There is no maximum allocation of these funds.
