Roger Hatcher is currently serving as the Director of the Center for Quality Teaching and Learning at Columbus State University. He holds a B.S. in History from Troy State University, M.A. and Sixth Year Certification(Ed.S) in Educational Leadership from Auburn University. Prior to coming to Columbus State University, Mr. Hatcher served in the Muscogee County School District as a teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal. He occupied the Principalship for a total of twenty-one years. Both schools in which he led, were named Georgia Schools of Excellence. The development of good educational leaders continues to be a major area of interest. He continues to believes that a major key to both teacher and student success is outstanding leadership at all levels of the educational organization.
