Dr. Pascoe is interested in helping graduate students at the masters, specialist, and doctoral levels of education develop quality research skills. Research knowledge and skills will allow CSU graduates to evaluate and conduct, when necessary, quality research in their academic professions with the goal of making data driven decisions regarding educational practice.
Additionally, teaching Educational Psychology has provided her with an opportunity to contribute and participate in the career development and enhancement of educational professionals in CSU partner schools, as well as surrounding Georgia and Alabama schools.
Dr. Pascoe's individual research emphasis is directed toward research methods and data collection pertaining to physiological measures and psychometric validation of assessment instruments. As evidenced in her professional activities, her research and presentations have incorporated research from diverse perspectives. The ability to use research methods and statistics in numerous applications has resulted in her working with others to design and evaluate their research. Dr. Pascoe's participation may involve any of the following: Design of the project, data collection and analysis, or formatting according to American Psychological Association guidelines.
Dr. Pascoe is currently working on a qualitative research proposal investigating aging, human development, leadership and spirituality.
